How can I set my code?

It's super easy, you just have to go to the app and you can do it from the Card tab > See details > Online shopping code.

For security reasons, the system will ask you to enter your password you use to access the app. Once it's done, you can choose your online shopping code.

This code must be 6 characters long, contain at least 1 letter and 1 number, the letters always being lowercase.

We recommend that you use the following verification code format as an example: mg1990

I forgot my online shopping code, where can I check it?

As a security measure, once the code has been configured, it cannot be consulted. But don't worry, if you have forgotten it you can simply create another one following the same steps you have taken to create it.

You can change the code as many times as you want, but you cannot repeat it.

Will I need this code every time I make an online purchase?

Not necessarily.

You will find some purchases in which it is not required, either because it is a small amount or because an exception allowed by the regulations applies.

Also keep in mind that this security step needs to be requested by both Rebellion and the merchant in order to receive it, so it is likely that it will not reach you if the merchant does not request this step.

I want to deactivate the code, how do I do it?

Once set, the code cannot be deactivated. Strong authentication is one of the main measures introduced by the European Directive 2015/2366 on payment services in the internal market known as PSD2, which is in force since January 1, 2021.
