✅ There are 4 ways to add money to your account:

  • Using debit, credit or prepaid card (except American Express). The process is 100% secure and we do not store your card details.

    • Go into the app and click on "Add money" on the Wallet screen.

    • We will ask you for the card details and the amount to be charged.

    • To your bank, a top-up on Rebellion is like a purchase. In addition, your bank may ask you for double confirmation and codes to authorize it.

    • Once you have made a top-up with a card, you will be able to program the automatic top-ups, so that you do not run out of money! You can find this option by also clicking on the "Add money" button and then on "Schedule automatic uploads".

    • You can save up to 5 cards for future top-ups. The data is encrypted and completely secure.

    • You will not be able to top-up your account if you are located in one of the following countries (or if the cards are issued in these countries): Afghanistan, Barbados, Belarus, Cambodia, Yemen, Islamic Republic of Iran, Jamaica, Korea, Democratic People's Republic of North Korea, Myanmar/Burma, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Panama, Syrian Arab Republic, Russia, Uganda, and Zimbabwe.

  • Using Apple Pay or Google Pay. The process is similar to the card's one but giving Apple Pay or Google Pay as a top-up method.

  • Sending a payment link: Send a payment link to whoever you want (rebellion customer or not) and you will receive the money as if you were the one doing the top-up. Click here for more information.

IMPORTANT! No recharge is immediate. All loads go through the security system and some may require authorization or verification by our team. If you have any questions about the time it may take, visit this article where we explain it all.

  • Add money with a bank transfer to your IBAN (account number) 💳 Transfers to your account number will work without problem with all the banks that operate in the Single Payment Area in Euros (here you have more information). There are some exceptions with savings banks that have not updated their systems and prevent transfers to Rebellion.

  • If your bank does not allow you to send money to Rebellion, request that they enable the possibility, you are within your rights.

  • Incoming transfers can take up to 3 business days. It depends on when your bank processes the request. Find all the information on this topic by clicking here.

  • We encourage you to try the automatic top-up system so you don't have to do it manually and always have money in your account. Automatic top-ups currently only work with a card.

❌ These ways can NOT be used to load your Rebellion account:

  • From an ATM? You cannot currently deposit cash into your Rebellion account from an ATM. 👀 Tip: You can deposit money from an ATM to another account and transfer it to Rebellion by making a transfer. You can also do this at your bank branch (beware, they will ask you to be the account holder).

  • Can I top up my account with a Google Play Store gift card? No, it is not possible to add money to your Rebellion account with a gift card of any kind.

  • Can I add money with Paysafe? No, we do not support Paysafe yet and it is not available as a loading method.

  • Do you have Bizum? Currently this option is not available (find more details here) but we do have Flash Transfers between Rebellion users.
